Qualification: Highfield Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors in the Private Security Industry (Refresher) AND Highfield Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)
Duration: 2 Days in classroom plus pre-course learning from home
Timings: 09:00 – 18:00
Location: Close Protection Academy, Stratford, East London
Assessment: E-assessments (multiple-choice questions) and practical skills assessments, offering immediate results and instant retakes if necessary
Course Overview:
This Level 2 Refresher Course is a mandatory qualification for all current Door Supervisors who need to renew their SIA licence from April 2026 onwards. This course replaces the previous ‘Top-Up’ training requirement and is designed to refresh and update your safety-critical skills and knowledge to meet the latest SIA standards.
Delivered at our accredited training centre in Stratford, London, this essential training ensures you remain fully licensed and compliant with the Security Industry Authority (SIA) regulations.
Who Is This Course For?
This course is for all current Door Supervisors who need to renew their SIA licence and prefer a blended learning approach and are able to complete pre-course learning from home.
Course Content:
Emergency First Aid in the Workplace
Principles of Working as a Door Supervisor in the Private Security Industry (Refresher)
Application of Physical Intervention Skills in the Private Security Industry (Refresher)
Entry Requirements:
Learners must be 18+ years old
You must currently hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
Must be able to communicate fluently in spoken and written English
Pre-course self-study which must be completed prior to course attendance, including ACT online training
Participants must wear appropriate, comfortable clothing suitable for practical, scenario-based training
What to Bring:
Two recent passport-sized photos.
One Group A identity document (e.g., passport or full UK driving licence)
Two Group B identity documents (e.g., utility bill, bank statement, birth certificate)
ACT Awareness and ACT Security e-learning certificates (completed within the past 12 months)
Completed pre-course learning materials
Laptop or tablet for e-assessments
